No, you must connect the iPad to the WiFi connection. You cannot hardwire the router to the Square Stand.

The receipt printer is thermal. It does not use ink.

Hi, is there a way to secure the square stand to the cash drawer, and the cash drawer to the countertop?

You can secure the stand to the countertop and mount the cash drawer underneath the countertop by purchasing under counter cash drawer brackets.

This is a USB receipt printer which connects to the Square Stands USB hub. The cash drawer connects to the receipt printer.

So this set up doesn't need a cat 5 hook up only wifi, correct? Secondly, if I add a chip reader is there a port available to plug it in? Thanks

Why don't you have photo's of the Standard cash drawer open? You have one of the mini, and it looks like it only holds coin not bills.

The mini does hold coins and bills.

Does the cash drawer open for its one with the system?

Yes, the cash drawer opens when you cash someone out, you can open it from the iPad or with the key 

How does the receipt printer connect to the iPad?

The receipt printer connects to the Square Stands USB hub and the iPad sits inside of the Square Stand. The USB wire is included inside of the receipt printer box. 

Does this require a hardwired internet connection?

No, it requires a wifi connection only.

Yes, you can use the system as a stand along register without using credit cards.

The Square Point of Sale software is free to use. Square does not charge monthly fees. Square only takes 2.75% per credit card swipe.

Does it have a credit/debit system that i can order with it? Or do i have to find my own?

Yes, with Square Point of Sale you also would be able to setup your merchant account to accept credit cards. Debit cards are also accepted but will be processed as credit instead.
